Throughout the site, the terms, “we”, “us”, “our”, and “We Are Bitte” refer to We Are Bitte ApS. The terms “the website” or “the site” refer to www.we-are-bitte.com.
When visiting and/or shopping at we-are-bitte.com, you automatically engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service” or “Terms”) including those additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.
The terms and conditions are listed below, and they regulate all content and all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Any new features or tools that are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to modify or update the terms and conditions at any time, so we recommend, that you review this page whenever using this website. The newest version of the terms and conditions will be available on this page including links to the pages of Shipping & Returns as well as Privacy Policy & Cookies (see below).
It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

ONLINE SHOP TERMS
After you have made a purchase on our online store, you will receive an order confirmation. No binding purchase agreement has been made between you and We Are Bitte until you receive this order confirmation.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

PAYMENT
We Are Bitte accepts online payments with the following credit cards Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and Visa Electron.
Payment will only be deducted from your account when the physical item is shipped unless otherwise agreed or stated on your order.
We Are Bitte uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data is secure and cannot be read by other third parties.
We Are Bitte's own website also uses encryption with SSL protocol.
We Are Bitte uses 3D Secure on all orders of EUR 30 and more.

PRICES
The website uses the currency of EUR for pricing. 
All prices include Danish VAT of 25 %. Local charges like import duties and/or taxes may occur, depending on your country. These charges are at the buyer’s own expense.
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
The present price list replaces all previous price lists. The prices for the products ordered on our online shop are visible in the order confirmation.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification or price change.

PRODUCTS
Certain products may be available exclusively online through the website. These products may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products that we offer. All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
If the items are in stock, they are normally shipped within 2-4 business days (delivery within an estimate of 3-5 business days).
We ship with GLS, and once your order has been dispatched you will receive a tracking number to track your order.
Large pieces of furniture are shipped with Dachser (on pallets) and it is always delivered at curbside.

TO THE EU
Shipping rates for EU countries (outside of Denmark) are 20 
Shipping rates (outside of Denmark) for large pieces of furniture are 50 €.
We ship to all countries within the EU. However, please note that we only ship to the mainland.
We Are Bitte ApS is not responsible for any extra taxes or fees that may apply once the package arrives in the destination country.

SHIPPING TO THE REST OF THE WORLD
Unfortunately, we do not yet ship outside the EU.

RETURNS
You can return any item within 14 days from receiving the order at your own expense. The return shipping cost must be paid by you and is not covered by We Are Bitte. Remember to always get a receipt for the shipment.
Also make sure to return the item(s) in proper packaging.

The request for cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 after the delivery and be with us no later than 14 days after we are informed of your use of the right of cancellation/withdrawal.
If you wish to make use of your right to withdraw the purchase, you must send us an e-mail at info@we-are-bitte.dk. In your message, clearly make us aware, that you want to use your right of withdrawal.
NB! You can’t return a product by not picking it up at the parcel shop or by refusing acceptance of the delivery at your address. If you don’t pick up your order or refuse acceptance of the delivry, the parcel will be returned to us. You will be charged the shipping cost for this return shipment.

You must pay for the return shipping cost yourself. You can either use our return portal (only if you live en Denmark) or purchase the shipping cost yourself. Return parcels can not be shipped to a parcel shop or with no distribution.
If you live in Denmark and wish to use our return portal, please send us an email at info@we-are-bitte.dk for further instructions. Please note that we will subtract an amount of DKK 39 if you use the return portal. This applies if you return both the full order or only part of the order.

If you have purchased more than one item and you return only part of your order, you will not be refunded the original shipping cost.

When returning an item, you must pay for the shipping costs yourself.
Please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure, your returning item meets the return criteria stated below.
  2. Fill out the return slip. If you have not received the return slip, please contact our customer service at info@we-are-bitte.dk.
  3. Pack your item with the return slip and the receipt of purchase.
  4. Send your package to:

Please note, that if you are shipping an item valued more than DKK 500, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

NB! Large pieces of furniture can only be returned by consulting We Are Bitte.

RETURN CRITERIA / CONDITION OF THE ITEM
When returning a product, you hold the responsibility that the package and the items are in the original condition as when you received it, and in the original packaging with original hang tags etc. You also hold the responsibility that the item has not been assembled, partly assembled, or attempted assembled.

The products must be unused and in the same condition that you received them in. Also, it must be in the original packaging or with the original tags still attached. Please note, that if these criteria are not obtained, unfortunately, the product is considered used and of decreased value. This means that when the purchase is cancelled, you will receive a minor portion or none of the purchase amount refunded. It is up to We Are Bitte to evaluate the item's condition.

WARRANTY
There is a 2-year warranty on products according to the Danish Sales Law. The warranty applies to all errors in software, material, and fabrication.
If the product is used for other purposes than intended, or if there has been unauthorized alterations made on the product, the warranty is void.

CLAIMS
At We Are Bitte we always strive to ensure that all products are in perfect condition. But if there is still something wrong with the product you have received, please report to We Are Bitte at as soon as possible after the goods have been received.

Please take 3-5 pictures (both close-up and full) of the damage and send it along with an explanation of the problem, and a copy of your receipt to us at info@we-are-bitte.dk.  
We will consult the pictures and explanation to evaluate if it is a production or material claim, or if is regular wear or faulty use of the product.

We will not cover claims, damages or wear created by faulty use, missing care, regular wear or unauthorized alterations of the product.
Please note that our furniture is made from wood which is a natural material, and differences in color etc. is part of the product and not to be considered a claim.

If the claim is accepted, we will usually solve it be replacing the faulty parts.

We will cover reasonable expences due to the faulty or damaged items.

Always consult us at info@we-are-bitte.dk before returning a faulty or damaged product.

WRONG DELIVERY
We do our very best to pack your orders correctly, but if your delivery is not identical to your order, please contact us at info@we-are-bitte.dk as soon as possible and no later than 14 days upon receiving your order.
In the case of a wrong delivery, you can either have the wrong product replaced (if we have it in stock) or refunded. You must return the wrong item to us.
We will pay the shipping costs associated with the wrong delivery.
The wrong item must be returned within a total of 14 days.
Please note, that you should always contact us at info@we-are-bitte.dk prior to returning a wrong delivery.

COMPLAINTS
A complaint about a product or service purchased from us can be submitted to us via our contact information here
If the complaint is unsettled, you can address your complaint to the Danish Competition and Consumer Agency's Center for Complaint Solution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark.
You can file a complaint to the Center for Complaints Solution via www.forbrug.dk.
The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used for filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer resident in another EU country than Denmark. 
Your complaint can be submitted here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, you must state our email address, info@we-are-bitte.dk and the site on which you made the purchase.

These terms and conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be settled according to Danish law by Danish courts.
There may be additional legal requirements for you to use this website dependent on the laws of your country. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
